Mila is half Japanese.
She loves wearing boys’ clothes (gender neutral we call them nowadays). But for the little cotton dress from genuine Japanese fabric and print, she gladly makes an exception. The same goes for her night gown with the funny ice cap print. And… without her favorite rag doll she can’t sleep at night.

 Mila comes with a cotton dress, cotton trousers, knickers, striped socks and leather shoes. A knitted sweater, ¾ pants with side pockets, Monty coat and a Fair Isle knitted tam will keep her warm in winter. A cotton flannel night gown when its bedtime. Long stockings and laced up high leather shoes go with the day outfit; felt slippers for the evening. And of course, her dear rag doll.

General information

Her head is carefully sculpted from wool. The stuffing of the body and limbs is from wool. The legs are disc jointed, so she can sit as well. The arms are stitch jointed so they hang along the body in a natural way and can be moved around freely and makes dressing and undressing easy.  Her 'skin' is made of cotton interlock. Her wig is made of wefted mohair crochet into a cap.

You may have to help a bit for your doll to find the right balance. The hips are jointed, so from this point you can bend the body slightly, while holding the legs with the feet to the ground, and maybe replacing a leg/ foot at the same time. Stretching the feet a bit sometimes also may help.               

Mila is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted doll, made of all-natural materials. She is a collectible but can also be used as a play doll (not for the very young).
