A Small Friendly Witch

There are Big Friendly Giants, and there are Small Friendy Witches. This is one  for sure.

She tries hard to look verv  vicious, mean and dangerous with a big pointed hat and shoes that are equally sharp. But even putting on a nose like the beak of a bird of prey can’t help recognizing friendly little Clarence. 

She is imagening to take off on her broom and that she soon will be hoovering over her cooky cabin in her skirt that looks as rough as bark.

Clarence comes in her witch/halloween outfit: A hand felted witch hat, knitted jacket and skirt and the pointed leather shoes. And of course with her frightful nose and her indispensable broom. (The black cat wil stay at home!)

General information

Her head is carefully sculpted from wool. The stuffing of the body and limbs is from wool. The legs are disc jointed, so she can sit as well. The arms are stitch jointed so they hang along the body in a natural way and can be moved around freely and makes dressing and undressing easy. Her 'skin' is made of cotton interlock. Her wig is made of wefted mohair crocheted into a cap.

You may have to help a bit for your doll to find the right balance. The hips are jointed, so from this point you can bend the body slightly, while holding the legs with the feet to the ground, and maybe replacing a leg/ foot at the same time. Stretching the feet a bit sometimes also may help.

Clarence is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted doll, made of all-natural materials. She is a collectible but can also be used as a play doll (not for the very young).
