Almost disappearing in the heap of fallen leaves that make automn the most beautifull season, Gwen thinks. She is dressed  for the occasion in all golden collors. With a Fair Isle tam on her golden hair and a teddy  fur coat in the same collor of her hair.

But for romping in the fallen leaves the checkered dungaree is more comfortable. The woolen jacket – in collors that forecast winter- replaces the teddycaot; it isn’t that cold yet.

Gwen comes with the checkered woolen jersey dress, the teddy fur caot  (cotton actually), the knitted tam, long sockings, cotton knickers, mary janes, long sleef T-shirt, dungaree and the knitted jacket.

General information

Her head is carefully sculpted from wool. The stuffing of the body and limbs is from wool. The legs are disc jointed, so she can sit as well. The arms are stitch jointed so they hang along the body in a natural way and can be moved around freely and makes dressing and undressing easy.  Her 'skin' is made of cotton interlock. Her wig is made of wefted mohair crocheted into a cap.

You may have to help a bit for your doll to find the right balance. The hips are jointed, so from this point you can bend the body slightly, while holding the legs with the feet to the ground, and maybe replacing a leg/ foot at the same time. Stretching the feet a bit sometimes also may help. 

Gwen is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted doll, made of all-natural materials. She is a collectible but can also be used as a play doll (not for the very young).
